Privacy Policy

SelloWise is a product of Shape Your Brand LLC, a Florida (US) limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, who processes it, and the rights you have. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.

1. Who we are & how to reach us

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, name, and (if you use Google sign-in) your Google account identifier.
• Profile & onboarding — role, industry, buyer, tone of voice, and posting goals.
• Content you create — buyer pains, objections, vault items, drafts, plans, and your personal memory.
• Manual analytics you enter — post copies, comments, conversations, meetings, and notes you log.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe. We store a customer ID and subscription status; we do not see or store your full card number.
• Product telemetry — anonymous or pseudonymous error logs and page views used to keep the app running and improve UX.

3. How we use your data

• Generate posts, plans, and suggestions tailored to your buyer.
• Run your account, memory system, and billing.
• Communicate with you about your account (password resets, product updates you can opt out of).
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on:

• Contract — to deliver the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — to secure, debug, and improve the product.
• Consent — for optional analytics cookies and marketing emails, where required.
• Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and lawful requests.

5. Our AI system

SelloWise runs a custom-built AI agent system. To produce the best result for each task, our system routes requests to multiple AI platforms — each chosen because it is strongest for a specific purpose:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT) — drafting and reasoning.
• Anthropic (Claude) — long-context editing and tone matching.
• Google (Gemini) — structured content and research.
• FireCrawl — reading public web pages when relevant.

These providers process your prompt to return a result and are governed by their own terms. We contractually require that OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and FireCrawl do not use your prompts, your content, or your team's data to train their models. We do not sell your data to them. Your data is used solely to return the result you asked for and to improve your own posts and your team's efforts inside SelloWise. AI can still be wrong — see the disclaimer in section 12.

6. Your personal memory system

Your memory (voice, preferences, ICP, patterns) is yours alone. It is never shared with other users, and it is never shared with your teammates — even inside a Team Workspace. Our AI helps keep it up to date, and you can (and should) review and edit it for accuracy from Settings.

7. Subprocessors

We use a small number of vendors to run SelloWise:

• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
• Google Analytics & Google Search Console — traffic and search visibility.
• Snapsello — anonymised visitor insights to improve UX.
• OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, FireCrawl — AI processing (see section 5).

8. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising under CCPA/CPRA. We do not run ads on SelloWise.

9. Cookies & tracking

We use strictly-necessary cookies (to keep you signed in) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Snapsello) to understand how visitors use the site. Details and opt-out instructions live on our Cookies page.

10. International transfers

SelloWise is operated from the United States. If you access it from the EEA, UK, or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to the US and other countries where our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

11. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your content from our live systems within 30 days and purge it from encrypted backups on a rolling 90-day window. We may keep limited records where required by law (e.g. invoices).

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to certain uses. EU/UK users may also complain to their local supervisory authority. US state residents (California, Virginia, Colorado, and others) have equivalent rights under CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and similar laws — including the right to opt out of sale/share and targeted advertising (which we do not engage in).

You can export or delete your data from Settings, or email privacy@shapeyourbrand.com. We respond within 30 days.

13. Children

SelloWise is for adults. You must be 18+ to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

14. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based access controls, database row-level security, and least-privilege access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever have a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

15. Third-party platforms

SelloWise helps you create content for LinkedIn and X, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn or X. Their handling of your data on their platforms is governed by their own policies.

16. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
